Ingredients:
- 8 slices pumpernickel or rye bread, toasted
- ½ cup Thousand Island salad dressing
- 6 frankfurters, split lengthwise
- 1 8-ounce can sauerkraut, well drained
- 4 slices Swiss cheese

Preparation Method:
Spread one side of toast with dressing. Top each of 4 toast slices with 3 frank halves, about 2 tablespoons kraut, and 1 cheese slice. Top with remaining toast. Place on paper toweling. Micro-cook, uncovered, till cheese melts, about 1 minute for one sandwich, or 2 ½ minutes for four sandwiches. Makes 4 servings.
