Ham loaf


Item required
3 eggs, slightly beaten
11/2 lbs. ground cooked ham
1/2 cup (1/2 slice) soft bread cubes 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon chopped onion or
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper if desired
11/2 tablespoons prepared mustard 1/4 cup milk
Setting: HIGH
1. In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Press mixture into 11/2-quart (8 x 4) glass loaf dish; cover.
2. MICROWAVE for 12 to 15 MINUTES or until done. Let stand a few minutes before slicing and serving.
4 to 6 Servings
TIPS For individual ham loaves, place 1/2 cup mix-ture in about nine 5 or 6-oz. custard cups. MICRO-WAVE, uncovered:
1 cup — 2 to 21/2 MINUTES
2 cups — 3 to 31/2 MINUTES
3 cups — 4 to 41/2 MINUTES
4 cups — 5 to 51/2 MINUTES
Invert onto serving plate.
e Loaf can be topped before cooking with mixture of 3/4 cup drained crushed pineapple and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. For individual loaves, place 1 table¬spoon of this mixture in bottom of each custard cup. 9 MICROWAVE on MEDIUM for 16 to 18 MINUTES.
