Corned beef ‘N’ cabbage dinner


Item required
23/4 to 3-lb. corned beef brisket with seasonings
11/2 cups water
2 medium onions. quartered
3 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, quartered
1 cabbage, cut into 8 wedges
Settings: HIGH,’DEFROST
1. Place corned beef brisket in 3-quart glass cas-serole; add water, and sprinkle with seasonings in¬cluded with meat. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 10 to 12 MINUTES or until boiling. Turn meat over.
3. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for about 1112 hours or until fork tender. Turn meat over; add remaining ingredients; recover.
4. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for 30 to 45 MIN-UTES or until vegetables are tender. Let stand, cov¬ered, 5 minutes before serving.
